Taylor forms DMT Studio

Carlisle, Pa. — Linda Taylor, formerly a senior designer at now-closed Hoffman Mills, has formed DMT Studio here.

DMT, which stands for Design Master Textile, offers design assistance and services, including translating concepts into fabrics, editing images, layout work, construction analysis, card-cutting designs, creating loom files, forecasting domestic color trends, recommending yarns, technical assistance for wide weaving, and creating multiple colorways.

Taylor, who served as senior designer for the bedding line and as weave development specialist at Hoffman, is joined by Chris McDonel, DMT artistic director, who was a textile designer/studio designer and merchandise manager/trade show coordinator at Hoffman.
