IFDA forum will explore historic preservation

Boston — "Preserving Yesterday, Envisioning Tomorrow" will be the theme of the International Furnishings and Design Assn.'s Industry Forum and Conference here Sept. 28–30.
It will explore historic preservation, restoration and marketing trends, with attention on achieving business success.
Speakers will include interior designer Charles Spada, Hickory Chair President Jay Reardon and furniture designer Dakota Jackson. Einar Eisner, executive vice president of South Cone Trading Co., will talk about the green movement in furniture.
The event will conclude with a gala.
