Sczubelek EVP at L&P Consumer unit

Chicago — Leggett & Platt has named Stephen Sczubelek executive vice president of sales and marketing for the company's Consumer Products Business Unit, which includes the Fashion Bed Group.
He previously worked for some 15 years at specialty retailer Sleep Train/Mattress Discounters on the West Coast, most recently as vice president of sales promotion and merchandising.
At Leggett & Platt, Sczubelek will oversee sales, marketing and product development for Consumer Products. He also will coordinate advertising, trade shows and merchandising for all products in the unit, which in addition to Fashion Bed Group includes Bedding Support Products and Southern Textiles.
Fashion Bed Group President Ron Ains-worth, who left Leggett July 15, oversaw those tasks, among others.
Sczubelek reports to Dennis Park, president of Leggett & Platt Home Furniture Components.
