Lexington Home Brands awards jewelry, trips

Three retailers win market drawings

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, June 29, 2009

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Three retailers have won drawings held by Lexington Home Brands during the April High Point Market.

The promotion was tied to the introduction of three collections Lexington introduced at market - Black Ice, Cimarron and Island Estate by Tommy Bahama.

For Black Ice, Isabelle Codere of J.C. Perrault in Montreal won a set of designer jewelry.

For Cimmaron, Shayne and Cathy Hemsley of Hamilton Park in Salt Lake City won a weekend getaway for two to the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz.

And for Island Estate, Christina Gavronsky of The Furniture Mart in Jacksonville, Fla., won a weekend getaway for two to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

"In a challenging business environment, we recognize that sampling a new whole-home collection is a significant decision," said Jim Burke, senior vice president of sales at Lexington. "We felt compelled to express our appreciation for the confidence placed in us by our retail partners, and decided that this approach would lend excitement to our market presentation and offer them a well-deserved reward at the same time."
