Some lucky Art Van customer will get some kicks out of this 1959 Corvette, which the Michigan chain is giving away to promote its 50th anniversary.
WARREN, Mich. — Art Van is giving away a 1959 "little red Corvette" convertible in a promotion tied to its 50th anniversary celebration.
The 30-store, Top 100 company, and Michigan's largest furniture store chain, said the contest for the car runs until Oct. 31, and is open to all drivers in good standing who are 18 years or older and living in Michigan, Ohio or Indiana. Consumers can visit the retailer's Web site to register. The winner will be randomly selected by Nov. 12.
"Both Art Van Furniture and the Chevrolet Corvette have stood the test of time to become symbols of Michigan pride," Art Van Founder and Chairman Art Van Elslander said in a press release.
