Loomcraft Textiles giving free fabrics

Available at Interior Alternative outlet in Burlington, N.C.

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 2, 2009

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Loomcraft Textiles, an upholstery fabric supplier to the industry and a dealer in closeouts and seconds, is doing its bit to help its retail customers by giving away 100,000 yards of fabric at its outlet store here.

An assortment of fabrics has been taken off sale and is available free to customers visiting the Interior Alternative fabric outlet.

The fabrics, which normally would sell for $9.99 to $14.99 a yard, are in pieces of one or two yards. Each customer can take one piece, although local schools and charities can arrange bulk donations.

Loomcraft says it is conducting the promotion as a way to thank its customers in hard economic times.

The Interior Alternative outlet is at the company's home office, 2516 Industry Drive in Burlington. The outlet sells decorative fabrics, linings, trims, and custom furniture and also offers custom re-upholstery and window treatments.
