![]() Bedding retailer Sleepy’s is adding more e-commerce features to its Web site at www.sleepys.com. |
Once the upgrades are complete by late summer, consumers will be able to order mattresses, bedding supplies and sleep accessories at www.sleepys.com. A "comfort finder" will help the purchaser select the correct mattress based on his comfort preferences.
In addition, consumers will be able to chat live with a Sleepy's sales associate and schedule in-home delivery.
"The goals of the site are to provide an online tool for our customers to conduct research on our many products and services, to provide information about sleep and health, and to offer another channel for purchase," said Dan Rowley, executive vice president and chief information officer.
Sleepy's recently acquired telephone and Internet retailer 1800mattress.com in a U.S. Bankruptcy Court auction. That company's Web site continues to operate separately from the Sleepy's site.
