IFDA holding seminars on protecting intellectual property
Attorney Jeanne Hamburg will talk about rights in furniture design, brands

NEW YORK — A two-part breakfast learning series on intellectual property rights, copyrights and licensing will be hosted here by the International Furnishings and Design Assn., New York Chapter, starting July 16.Jeanne Hamburg, a member of IFDA and an attorney with Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, will present the first session on Copyrights in Creative Designs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, in the New York Design Center's Conference Room at 200 Lexington Ave. and 33rd Street.
She will host a second session on Trademarks in Designs, Product Shapes, Logos and Brands on Sept. 10.
The series is free to IFDA members. Non-members will be charged $25 for either session or $40 for both sessions. Cost to non-member students is $15 and $25.
