Clayton Marcus opens five Home Expressions galleries

Hickory, N.C. — Upholstery manufacturer Clayton Marcus, based here, has launched Home Expressions galleries in stores in Maryland, South Carolina, Florida, New Jersey and Minnesota.
In Leonardtown, Md., Furniture and Things has installed a 2,800-square-foot gallery. The store, which had its beginnings selling flooring, is 10,000 square feet, and showcases 15 Clayton Marcus custom upholstery groups with accent pieces.
Jim and Amelia Toney, co-owners of Home Accents II in Surfside, S.C., have opened a 2,500-square-foot Home Expressions gallery in their new 12,000-square-foot store, also showcasing 15 groups. Home Accents II is a retailer of whole-home furnishings and home accents.
In Port Charlotte, Fla., Bacon's Furniture has opened a 3,400-square-foot Clayton Marcus gallery in their 72,000-square-foot store. Bacon's, a family-run business and one of the largest furniture stores in the area, is owned by Bill Bacon, who has been in furniture retailing since 1974. Bacon's has been a Clayton Marcus dealer for over 10 years.
In Fairfield, N.J., Sofa's Plus has a 2,300-square-foot Home Expressions gallery offering 12 groups in its 60,000-square-foot store. Sofa's Plus, in business for over 20 years, has been a Clayton Marcus dealer for over nine years.
Schneiderman's has installed a 2,300-square-foot Home Expressions gallery in its new 50,000-square-foot store in Duluth, Minn. Schneiderman's, founded in 1948, currently has Clayton Marcus galleries in five stores, and has been a customer of the manufacturer for 11 years. The Duluth gallery features 12 groups.
Clayton Marcus, founded in 1960, is a La-Z-Boy subsidiary.
