American Furniture Rentals opens DC

Pennsauken, N.J. — Rent-to-rent specialist American Furniture Rentals has opened a 35,000-square-foot distribution center in Rocky Hill, Conn.
The facility will bridge the gap between its New England and metropolitan New York operations.
"This move will allow us to better serve our Connecticut and western Massachusetts client base and give more convenient access to our showroom," said Jerry Hellmann, president. The company had been serving the area from its Woburn, Mass., and Secaucus, N.J., distribution centers.
American Furniture Rentals says it is the fourth-largest U.S. rent-to-rent company, focusing on the eastern United States from New England through North Carolina.
