WHFA conference set for May in Hawaii

Roseville, Calif. — The Western Home Furnishings Assn. plans to hold its annual conference and trade show at the Fairmont Orchid resort on Hawaii's big island next May 21–23.
The three-day event will offer educational programs to arm home furnishings retailers with the latest business-building information. Topics will include sales and management techniques and how to beef up the bottom line. WHFA has scheduled two general sessions, and details are still in the works.
The cost for WHFA members to attend the conference is $395 for the first person and $345 for others. For non-members, the cost is $495 and $445 respectively. The cost will increase by $50 for any registration received after next April 3.
Companies that wish to exhibit at the trade show will receive a $125 discount on their cost if they register by Oct. 3.
