Palecek names Beld VP

RICHMOND, Calif. — High-end furniture, lighting and accessories supplier Palecek has named David J. Beld vice president of sales and marketing.
Beld, who replaces Matt Cooley, formerly was director for sales and marketing at lighting and décor source Murray Feiss. He also previously worked with designer Dakota Jackson and manufacturer Baker Furniture.
“Beld brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to Palecek,” President George Van Ess said in a press release. “His background in both residential and hospitality sales, as well as his extensive history working with designers, are powerful assets.”
Beld, who reports to Van Ess, is in the Palecek showroom at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, which runs through July 15.
