Legends Furniture starts shared container program
Extends lower pricing to more accounts
Tom Russell -- Furniture Today, July 27, 2009
TOLLESON, Ariz. — Case goods manufacturer and importer Legends Furniture has started a shared container program to offer container direct pricing to a larger number of accounts.
The program, which went into effect July 24 is called Shared Advantage Value Express, or SAVE. To participate, customers can order as little as 500 cubes of home office, home entertainment and dining furniture from the company's Yantian, China, warehouse.
Merchandise from three or four customers would be combined in a single container, allowing each to take advantage of container direct pricing without having to order a full container.
The goods, which are on the water for three to four weeks, are then shipped to the dealer directly from one of three domestic distribution centers in Dallas, Phoenix and Lexington, N.C.
Customers wanting more information, including pricing, should call their rep or company marketing analyst Myke Clark at (623) 931-6500.
