Bernhardt

Martha Stewart's Opal Point introduction looked to the West for inspiration, with Asian tones, a modern feel and an interesting mix of materials.

Norwalk

Norwalk's Marisol sofa puts a new spin on the reverse camel back. It comes in 89-inch and 99-inch lengths.

Classic Flame

Decorative fireplaces continue to be a hot item, and Classic Flame's Alexandria, in poplar and cherry veneers with a pickled oak finish, was among the new entries.

Whitecraft

A bamboo pole canopy bed was a welcome addition to Whitecraft's Laura Ashley Brighton collection. Modeled after the furnishings in the Brighton Pavilion, King George IV's famed retreat, the line is offered in tortoise or weathered white (shown).

Broyhill

Broyhill's first full-fledged stationary leather seating line from China proved a huge success, with all 12 frames, including this 86-inch channel back, making the line. Sharply priced from $899 to $1,299, the entries feature better, non-corrected leathers.

Hickory White

This dresser and mirror, from Continental Classics, display the architectural Italian motif seen throughout the collection.

Garcia Imports

Swirl mahogany, walnut burl and rosewood veneers artfully combine with mahogany solids in this reproduction from Garcia Imports.

Palecek

The Taylor arm chair won kudos for its dramatically curvaceous silhouette.

Saloom

The Woodstock turned pedestal base is available with a top of maple, cherry, granite, porcelain, tile or Corian, in a choice of 40 finishes.

AICO

Torino was among eight groups introduced by AICO as it entered the upholstery category for the first time.

Lane

Lane's Country Living line scored another hit with Stockbridge, a take on classic New England furnishings and a touch more refined than the license's prior introductions.

Klaussner International

The source made a major move into the youth segment with Homeworks, which included this stylish, space-saving setup.

Magnussen Home

This grand canopy bed from Magnussen Home's new licensed line with Biltmore Estate reflects the grandeur of the collection's namesake mansion.

King Hickory

A daybed in the collage realm from King Hickory mixes it up with hand-tooled crocodile leather.

J.D. Young

Primavera veneers and an eight-leg configuration lend an elegance not typically found in many counter-height dining groups to this set from J.D. Young.

Theodore & Alexander

This Jupe table in oak, part of the Replica collection, made an impression with its radial expansion feature.

Sklar Peppler

Sklar Peppler's emphasis this market was on color and denim.

Renowned designer Vladimir Kagan made a splash with his new line of contemporary occasional and leather, the Mallory collection.

This solid-maple entertainment console with matching etageres, part of the new Loft collection, generated a great response.

Fine Furniture Design & Marketing

Along with its most contemporary offering to date, Fine Furniture Design & Marketing offered the updated traditional Meeting Street, an eclectic introduction that included this deeply tufted leather bed.

Kathy Ireland Home by Martin

This L-shaped executive desk and return is part of the Brookfield collection by Kathy Ireland Home by Martin Furniture. It is made from oak solids and veneers and has a French heritage, distressed finish.

Emerson et Cie

This coromandel-style curio cabinet sports a stunning, gold-leaf inlay treatment.

Moretti's Design

The Maya lounge chair generated kudos for its innovative blending of modern and casual elements.

Riverside

The Loft home theater wall made a stylish statement with its combination of oak solids, straight-grain and tiger-stripe oak veneers and cast tubular metal bases.

Burton James

Burton James' Melrose by Glen Read, with its trim lines and upscale look, features American Silk's Adonis pattern and will retail for about $4,500.

Lee Inds.

Lee Inds. gives new life to the traditional wing chair by using this wide stripe in bright colors.

Howard Miller

The company's new Wine and Spirits collection tapped into growing interest for cabinets that accommodate wine, spirits and glassware.

Sligh

This partial pedestal desk is part of the Tufano home office collection by Sligh Furniture. Features include tooled leather inset surface, sliding tambour drawer fronts and conventional drawers.

Feizy

Feizy's Gazebo collection brings a big dash of fashion to the indoor-outdoor rug category. Machine woven of 100% polypropylene in stencil and floral patterns. Washable, mildew and fade resistant. $99 in 5 by 8.

Baker

Bill Sofield drew on 1920s to 1940s glam for his fusion collection for Baker, which included the wood-frame Hollywood sofa in silk linen.

Excelsior

Excelsior Designs' well-received Nicole Miller licensed collection included new categories for the supplier like upholstery, as well as its first poster bed, shown here.

Charleston Forge

The company created a buzz with its Generations table, in wood and metal.

Platt

From Platt Collections, this is a large-scale setting of a flexible, stylish market hit — bunching dining cabinets in a gold leaf treatment.

Hickory Hill

Hickory Hill made an impact with a sleek silhouette in this straightforward, urban-look sofa.

Couristan

Contemporary designs are becoming more relaxed and informal, as in Couristan's Vogue collection, which is hand-tufted of hand-spun, space-dyed wool. $589 in 5′6″ by 8′.

Crescent

The stateroom gentleman's chest was one of the popular pieces at market from Cresent's Crossings, the new collection from interior designer Rick Shaver.

Butler

The dramatic front of this bombe-style chest drew attention with its three levels of inlay in a four-heart pattern.

Pulaski

The producer expanded its Casa Cristina line with Urbana, noted for its simple lines, hand-carved details and warm finish.

Hillsdale

The Meakins bed was one of several new transitional styles introduced by Hillsdale Furniture this market. It features mostly straight lines and simple castings.
