ASHEBORO, N.C. — Klaussner Home Furnishings has promoted four executives to vice president posts and named one a director.

"Due to the many changes in our business, we find it necessary to restructure our sales and merchandising team. We feel the folks we have chosen are genuinely qualified to fill these positions and enhance our team as we develop our future strategies," said J.B. Davis, the manufacturer's president and CEO.

The promoted execs are:

• Todd Campbell, named vice president of sales. Campbell joined the company in 1996 in the purchasing department of the Realistic division, later moving to the corporate fabric purchasing department. He then became national accounts sales person for the Klaussner's case goods division before his promotion to national sales manager - case goods, a position he has held for the past five years.

• Brandunn Rush, named vice president of sales - upholstery division. Rush joined the company in 1998 as a management trainee. He spent two years as quality and final finish supervisor at the company's Realistic plant, and spent a year as assistant to the corporate director of quality. He was national accounts sales manager for five years until moving up to national sales manager - upholstery division last year.

• Chuck Welch, named director of sales, e-commerce, mass merchants and clubs. He joined the company in 1985 as a management trainee and worked as an account executive in customer service before becoming national accounts sales manger in 1992. Later, he moved to merchandising as production manager - stationary leather for 11 years. In January 2008, Welch became national accounts sales manager for e-commerce, mass merchants and clubs.

• Mack Peters, named vice president of merchandising - Essentials, motion and imported upholstery. Since joining the company 19 months ago, Peters has been product manger over several lines and has worked in merchandising.

• Chris Rayle, named vice president of merchandising - case goods division. Rayle joined Klaussner in 2006 as product manager for the occasional table, entertainment and casual dining lines and also worked on promotional product lines. In January, he was named director of case goods merchandising.

Campbell, Rush and Welch report to Steve Brower, senior vice president of sales, while Peters and Rayle report to Jay Foscue, senior vice president of merchandising.
