Marshfield, Wis. — Marc Levy has been promoted to executive vice president of upholstery maker Marshfield Furniture. He reports to William J. Mork, president and owner.
An industry veteran in retail, sales and manufacturing, Levy joined Marshfield in 2000 as sales manager. He will continue that role in addition to his new duties.
Levy began his career at retail, then joined Schweiger in 1985 as a sales representative and became a sales manager in 1986. He worked as a manager for Wisconsin-based upholstery manufacturer Noritage from 1993 to 2000.
"Marc brings his vast experience of serving the Midwest customer to our Woodlands niche of exclusive frame styles and outdoor-themed fabrics," said Mork. "His working relationships within the industry are an invaluable asset to us. He is an excellent merchandiser. He understands the desires of the end customer, the retail store owner, and the demands of manufacturing."
