World Imports opens Tupelo Furniture Market showroom
Reports good traffic at first show

The company, which sells bedroom, dining room, occasional and accent furniture and upholstery, operates a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in Philadelphia. It also recently opened a Southern distribution center in Bruce, Miss., which is just southwest of Tupelo.
Jeff Wallner, vice president of World Imports, said at the market that the company got off to a strong start, seeing a number of accounts before the market's official opening on Aug. 14.
"Even better, these were not tire kickers - these people wrote orders," he said.
