By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 8, 2006

A 27-year company veteran, she continues as merchandising director, a post she has held for 10 years. As customer service manager, Long will oversee daily operations for the national customer service team, which assists both dealers and sales representatives.

Long succeeds Kay Lafone, who is retiring after a 36-year career with the company. Lafone, who also was office manager for Classic Leather and Statesville Chair, will step down this spring from the corporate board of directors and retire as treasurer.

Caryl Burns, office manager for contract division St. Timothy, also becomes office manager for residential producers Classic and Statesville.

Long continues to report to President Tommy Shores Jr., and Burns to Brad Hoffman, vice president of contract sales.
