Bernards taps Black for VP

High Point — Industry veteran Tom Black has joined importer Bernards, replacing Dan Kendrick, who went to Progressive.

Black has been named vice president of sales and national sales manager, handling the sales force and working with Senior Vice President of Sales Dale Ward.

Black had been with Master Design since 2001 and was vice president of sales for the company's eastern division. Earlier, he was vice president of sales for Lea Inds. and Lexington Home Brands. He began his career in 1973 with Burlington Inds.
