ITMA fabric tour set for late January
Students to meet with industry textile designers

High Point — The International Textile Market Assn. will hold its seventh annual "Fabric: From Concept to Consumer" educational tour Jan. 25–27.
About 25 students and educators from colleges and universities are expected to join the tour.
ITMA member companies and industry supporters participating include Valdese Weavers, Tietex Interiors, upholstery producer Pearson Co., and Wesley Mancini Ltd.
A highlight of the tour is a social mixer at which students can talk with industry textile designers and also show their design portfolios. The mixer is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, in the String & Splinter Club at Market Square.
