Distributor to feature Universal gallery program at SFM
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 15, 2006
San Francisco — Furniture Forum will showcase Universal Furniture products in a gallery format at the Feb. 2–5 San Francisco Winter Home Furnishings Market.
Ernest and Robert Legnitto of Furniture Forum will manage the display, in spaces 470 and 476 of the San Francisco Mart. Furniture Forum is a San Francisco-based wholesale distributor of midpriced to high-end bedroom, living room, dining room, home office and entertainment and occasional furniture.
The 3,000-square-foot San Francisco showroom will feature Universal Home, a marketing program designed for retail partners. Its products include bedroom, dining room, wall units, home office and upholstery.
Through this gallery format, Universal hopes to market its product to Furniture Forum's customers in the northern California market, said Roland Maddrey, the importer's vice president of sales. The showroom will be open throughout the year to Furniture Forum clients.
Furniture Forum has had a showroom at SFM since 1988. It also carries lines by Hekman and Highland House.
