MGM readies Vegas booth
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 15, 2006
Las Vegas — MGM Transport will have a booth at the Las Vegas market to provide information on its home furnishings transportation and logistics services.
It will be in the Retailer Resource Center, space 21, on the second floor of the World Market Center.
"As manufacturing and supply chain fulfillment continue to evolve, we've stepped up to meet the industry demands by offering customized services," said Michael Caldiero, vice president of sales and marketing for MGM. "With furniture imports on the rise, the need for warehousing and delivery has become a bit of a challenge for many retailers. That is where we come into the picture."
MGM representatives will be at market the entire week to discuss topics such as distribution management for import programs, warehousing, light assembly and home delivery.
