Restonic promotes Favia to VP of sales
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 29, 2006
Rosemont, Ill. — Bedding maker Restonic has promoted Donna Amatulli Favia to vice president of sales and marketing. She was previously vice president of marketing services.
"In her 12 years at Restonic, Donna has proven herself to be a strong leader in our sales organization, as well as our marketing organization," said Carlene Evenson Peterson, Restonic's president. "We decided to merge the two functions and Donna was the obvious choice to head up the new department. Her strong retailer relationships and immense product knowledge bring a 'real world' perspective to the position."
With the appointment, the top two positions at Restonic are now filled by women, which the company says is a first for the bedding industry. Peterson is the first woman to head a Top 12 bedding producer.
Before joining Restonic, Favia owned a mattress shop. She has held positions at Restonic in dealer training, sales development and marketing services.
Reporting to Favia are Ron Fouse and Doug Annand, who are responsible for commercial and national accounts, and Nancy Jamrozek, a marketing services coordinator.
