Edison, N.J. — Larry Karel says that, as usual, the exhibit space at his upcoming market here is filling up fast and he expects droves of buyers from the New York metro area, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The Edison Furniture and Accessories Market takes place in the New Jersey Convention Center Feb. 5–7.
Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
"Edison is one of the most fantastic shows simply because of the crowds it attracts," said Karel. "They are made up of buyers from around the region and exhibitors with merchandise that represents every segment of the U.S. and foreign countries."
With products ranging from furniture and lighting to flooring and bedding, retailers "can get all their buying done and return home the same day," he said. The show will have more than 1,000 exhibitors.
Leon Kitovsky of Creative Furniture, who has been exhibiting at Edison since 1994, calls the show "extremely comfortable and profitable.... The show is affordable, convenient and friendly, with no restrictions, and serves the purpose of helping smaller companies grow."
