Bloomingdale's

New York — Frank Doroff, Bloomingdale's senior executive vice president, general merchandise manager, ready to wear, has assumed additional responsibility for all of Bloomingdale's Direct, including the company's Web site at www.bloomingdales.com.

Franz Weiglein, president of Bloomingdale's Direct, now reports to Doroff. The Web site was under the aegis of Lisa Gavales, who has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing.

Also, Jack Hruska has rejoined Bloomingdale's from parent Federated Department Stores as executive vice president, creative services, reporting to Tony Spring, senior executive vice president, director of stores.

Keller Mfg.

Louisville, Ky. — David T. Richardson, president and CEO of one-time case goods producer Keller Mfg., left the company Jan. 29 to pursue other opportunities.

He was the sole remaining employee of the company, which completed its exit from the furniture business this past November.

Keller will continue to be managed by its board of directors. The company last month acquired an 85% stake in door maker Paragon Door Designs. Richardson plans to assist Paragon and the Keller board as a consultant.

Aaron Rents

Atlanta — John Schuerholz, executive vice president and general manager of the Atlanta Braves baseball team, has been elected to the board of directors of rent-to-own and retail giant Aaron Rents.

Charles Loudermilk, chairman and CEO of Atlanta-based Aaron Rents, said, "His record as one of the most successful general managers in baseball history is a testament to his business acumen and managerial ability. We believe he will bring a unique perspective to our board and his insights will make a solid contribution to the company."

Schuerholz previously worked for the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals, joining the Braves in 1990.
