Robert Allen Group restructures management teams

New York — Fabric supplier The Robert Allen Group has expanded and restructured its residential and contract sales management teams.
President Jeff Cordover said the realignment strengthens the company's sales leadership and increases its focus on core businesses.
In residential, Dan Payne has been promoted to operating vice president, residential sales, east. He had been director of residential sales, northeast, since joining Robert Allen in 2002.
Payne reports to Paul Sarazin, senior vice president, sales. Payne shares national responsibility with Tom Titus, who remains operating vice president, residential sales, west. Titus, who continues to report to Sarazin, is relocating to Texas.
Michelle Paul-Bagley is replacing Payne as director, residential sales, northeast. Paul-Bagley joined the company as director, residential sales, southeast, in 2004. She will report to Payne and plans to relocate to Philadelphia.
Stefan Lasek has been promoted to replace Paul-Bagley as director, residential sales, southeast. Lasek also reports to Payne. Since 2004, Lasek has been showroom manager in Dania, Fla.
Joe Kattenhorn has joined the company as director, residential sales, west. Kattenhorn, a 25-year veteran of industry sales, reports to Titus. Previously, Kattenhorn worked with Robert Allen for 19 years as an exclusive independent sales representative.
Kattenhorn replaces Robert Duban, who has been named director, contract sales, west. Duban joined RAG in 2003 as director, residential sales, west. He reports to Arthur Friedman, vice president, commercial accounts.
A director, contract sales, east, will be named soon, with similar responsibilities as Duban.
William Elliott has been promoted to senior manager, contract sales, with responsibility for developing contract sales in New York City and New England. He joined the group in 2005 as manager, contract sales, for New York City. He continues to report to Friedman.
Margaret "Maggy" Milford-Altan has been promoted to director, national accounts. Since 2004, she had been senior manager, fabric merchandising. She reports to Friedman.
Aldo Altieri, former operating vice president, contract sales, has left the company.
