Rooms filling up for NHFA event

High Point — Hotel rooms for the National Home Furnishing Assn.'s All-Industry Conference next month in Orlando, Fla., are quickly filling up.
The biannual event, co-hosted for the first time this year by the American Home Furnishings Alliance, is slated for March 11–13 at the Hilton at Walt Disney World. Sixteen educational seminars, networking sessions and social activities are planned.
"The Hilton is the host hotel, but is sold out," said Karin Mayfield, NHFA's senior director of education and communication. She added that the Buena Vista Palace Hotel across the street stepped up to offer rooms to attendees at the same discounted NHFA rate of $165 per night.
The convention costs $649 for a member and $549 for additional members; and $749 for a non-member and $649 for additional members.
