District sets 3 branded stores

Chula Vista, Calif. — The Eastlake Design District here has leased approximately 104,000 square feet of retail space to Ashley Furniture HomeStores, Bassett Furniture Direct and Lane Home Furnishings.
Phase 1 of the Eastlake project is nearing completion and will include the three as anchor tenants. Each has signed a 10-year lease for a combined total of $15 million, according to Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate.
The Ashley store will occupy 45,794 square feet, Bassett 40,243 square feet and Lane 18,397 square feet.
The Eastlake Design District is proposed to include a total of 450,000 square feet in two phases.
