Manchester, N.H. — As part of its 125th anniversary celebration, retailer CA Hoitt Furniture has donated several pieces of Thomasville furniture for use in the governor's office at the State House.
Gov. John Lynch thanked the company for its generosity.
"CA Hoitt's gift has created a comfortable and beautiful space for visitors to the State House to enjoy," said the governor. The donated furniture includes a sofa, six occasional chairs, three leather desk chairs, six executive chairs and several tables.
CA Hoitt's master furniture restorer, Marc Gendron, refurbished the governor's desk, built by the father of ex-U.S. Sen. Warren Rudman.
