Harkness elected WHFA president

Las Vegas — The Western Home Furnishings Assn. has installed its 2006 slate of officers, headed by new President David Harkness of Harkness Furniture in Tacoma, Wash.
Other officers include Taylor Ganz of McMahan's in Los Angeles, president-elect; George Nader of Nader's La Popular in Gardena, Calif., vice president; Keith Koplan of Koplan's Furniture in Vancouver, Wash., treasurer; and Ray Nunez of Furniture Savings Center in North Highlands, Calif., secretary.
WHFA also welcomed five new directors: Gary Absalonson of Walker's Furniture, Spokane, Wash; Julian Jeppe of Reed's Furniture, Agoura Hills, Calif.; Angel Lopez of Dearden's, Los Angeles; and Andrew Zuppa of American Furniture Warehouse, Englewood, Colo.
