Katz gets new Schnadig post

Des Plaines, Ill. — Jeff Katz has joined upholstery and occasional producer Schnadig Corp. in the new post of vice president, corporate sales.
He will direct all sales management and sales representative activities, and develop growth strategies through independent and regional retailers. He is based at Schnadig's sales and merchandising office in High Point.
Katz was senior vice president of sales and marketing at manufacturer Broyhill, and previously held executive merchandising posts at retailers HomeLife, Homemakers and Levitz.
At Schnadig, he reports to President and CEO Alan Cole.
"His years of retail experience are a major asset," Cole said. "His breadth of exposure at Broyhill further enhances his ability to significantly contribute to our strategic direction."
