John A. Dutko, co-owner of Sids Furniture

Belpre, Ohio — John A. "Big Sid" Dutko, co-owner of retailer Sids Furniture in Parkersburg, Ohio, and a manufacturing representative for furniture companies including Big Sandy, has died. He was 60.
He and James Applebaum owned Sids from September 1987 until it closed in December 1999.
Dutko served in the U.S. Navy. A love of music led him to be a disc jockey for many area events.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, three grandchildren and his parents.
