Phoenix — Case goods producer Parker House has named Joe Wade 2005 Salesman of the Year.
Wade covers Arizona, New Mexico and Las Vegas.
He posted a 55% sales increase in an established territory, said Sam Perone, Parker House vice president of sales and marketing.
He said the award not only recognizes productivity with existing accounts, but growth in new accounts and excellence in service.
"His dealers love him," Perone said.
Wade works in stores on weekends and usually carries a toolbox, some hardware and other replacement parts that come in handy in the showrooms, Perone said.
