Carpet One adds more range to logo

Anaheim, Calif. — Retail cooperative Carpet One has introduced an updated logo that reflects the diversity of products carried by its members.
The words "floor and home" indicate that the range of products and services extends far beyond carpeting.
The new logo was introduced to members at the Carpet One annual winter convention here.
"At first glance, the logo may look fairly similar to its predecessor," said Evan Hackel, president of Carpet One. "However, we've added some key elements and have made slight design changes so that the logo better represents Carpet One and the direction we're moving in."
He noted the word "floor" signals to consumers that Carpet One stores feature all types of flooring, from ceramic tile to hardwood and area rugs. Similarly, "home" reflects the fact that many stores sell window treatments or furniture and offer design services.
Branding agency Graj + Gustavsen of New York developed the new logo, which Carpet One will incorporate into advertising and store signage over the next year.
Carpet One has over 1,000 members in the United States, Canada and overseas.
