Bryant is Tempur-Pedic CEO

Lexington, Ky. — Tempur-Pedic has named its president, Tom Bryant, to succeed the retiring Robert Trussell as CEO of the visco-elastic bedding major.

Bryant, a consumer products veteran who joined Tempur-Pedic in 2001, will assume the post April 28. He will remain president, anf Trussell will remain board vice chairman.

"Tom is a talented and experienced executive who has driven our business, our strategy and our operations," said Trussell, who has been CEO for 14 years.
