Eastman House signs on with Therapedic

Sweet Springs, Mo. — Bedding producer Eastman House, based here, has joined the growing Therapedic brand.
Therapedic President Gerry Borreggine said the new licensee will serve bedding retailers in southern Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska.
"This signing gives us greater coverage in the middle of the country," he said. "In addition, we've added a strong facility, managed by quality people."
Eastman House is owned by Lake Park Capital of Highland Park, Ill. The company's principals are Mark Polinsky and Phil Sexaur. The sales manager is Derk Ralls, who has been with Eastman for over 10 years.
"We are excited to become part of the Therapedic group," said Polinsky, chairman of Eastman House. "Therapedic's emphasis on innovation, quality and customer service pairs well with our 140-year history."
With the signing of Eastman House, Therapedic now has 17 U.S. licensees. Earlier this year, Therapedic added Alliance Sleep Products of Buffalo, N.Y.
"Our brand is a hot commodity," Borreggine said. "We are on a growth curve, and we are looking to continue to grow our licensing network."
