Columbus, Ohio — Supplier Prestige Wood Products has acquired domestic case goods producer Eagle Inds., buying its stock from former owner Herbert Holtzman.
Prestige, based here, and its predecessor company TQG have been Eagle's top materials supplier for over a decade.
"I see Eagle continuing on in its best traditions as seamlessly to its customers and employees as possible," said Jerry Besanceney, PWP president and CEO. "PWP looks forward to building on the solid foundation of this strong and healthy company."
PWP serves businesses across the United States as a just-in-time wood products supplier. It said it brings to Eagle increased market access, supply-chain management and applications of the latest operating methods.
Prestige is associated with The Slane Group of companies, which owns businesses in rail, telecommunications, coal, recycling for power generation, chemical and wood products. These allied companies also could benefit Eagle, officials said.
Eagle, based in Bowling Green, Ky., shows in High Point, Las Vegas and Tupelo, Miss..
