JCPenney, Madden raise funds for N.Y. charity

New York — The Partnership for the Homeless held a silent auction here of JCPenney home furnishings as part of a gathering honoring designer Chris Madden for her work with the Partnership's Furnish a Future program.
The silent auction raised funds for the program. Madden has designed furniture for JCPenney. The celebration took place at the temporary JCPenney Experience store in Times Square.
