More Vegas hotels offer market discounts

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 2, 2006

Las Vegas market organizers have added several hotels at discounted rates for market guests here, including three in the downtown area near the World Market Center.

Exhibitors and attendees can go online to book hotel rooms at rates starting at $56 a night at www.lasvegasmarket.com.

The summer market is set for July 24–28 at the World Market Center and the Pavilions, and July 25–28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Registration will be available online beginning April 3.

Rooms also can be booked by calling (800) 974-9833, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.

New downtown hotels include the California Hotel, Four Queens and Main Street Station, with rates as low as $60, including free breakfast buffets.

Here are the Las Vegas market hotel partners:

Center Strip properties (Paradise between Sahara and Spring Mountain)

  • Courtyard by Marriott, $105

  • Las Vegas Hilton, $139

  • Marriott Suites, $119

  • Renaissance, $139

  • Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center, $109

  • Sahara, $56

Strip properties (Las Vegas Boulevard between Spring Mountain and Russell)

  • Bally's Las Vegas, $90

  • Bellagio, $179

  • Caesars, $159

  • Flamingo Las Vegas, $80

  • Paris Las Vegas, $110

Downtown Las Vegas

  • California Hotel, $60

  • Four Queens, $65

  • Golden Nugget, $105

  • Main Street Station, $60

The Courtyard by Marriott, Marriott Suites and the Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center are non-gaming properties.

The California Hotel, Four Queens and Main Street Station rates include a breakfast buffet.

To ensure the best availability, market organizers encourage booking early.

The World Market Center again has partnered with travel and housing provider ITS to negotiate custom room blocks and rates. The rates will not fluctuate throughout the week, nor is there a minimum stay requirement.

Guests will not be charged for rooms at booking, but will pay upon check-in.

As many as five rooms can be booked through the real-time reservations system online at www.lasvegasmarket.com.

ITS also will work to customize larger blocks of rooms as needed by exhibitors and buyer groups.
