Blackaby to speak at market prayer breakfast
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 9, 2006
High Point — The 12th annual Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast is slated for 7 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the ballroom of the International Home Furnishings Center, on the 11th floor of the Green wing.
Praise Foundation will lead the worship and music. Dr. Henry T. Blackaby, president of Blackaby Ministries International, is the keynote speaker. His most noted books, "Experiencing God" and "Knowing and Doing the Will of God," have been translated into 50 languages with over 5 million copies sold.
"The Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast provides a wonderful atmosphere and opportunity to network, worship and pray," said Larry Smith, Furniture Fellowship board chairman.
The cost is $18 a person, which includes breakfast. Tables for five or 10 can be reserved.
To become a sponsor, contributions can be made in the amounts $100, $250, $500 or more above the cost of admission. Sponsors will receive recognition in the event's program. Contributions will help cover costs of the breakfast, and excess proceeds will be given to Habitat for Humanity.
A Sunday worship service also will be held from 7 to 7:45 a.m. April 30 in the High Point Theater, in the IHFC building at the Commerce Street entrance.
