Lenoir, N.C. — Broyhill Furniture Inds. has named two industry sales veterans to oversee its eastern and western territories.
Phil Goodson, a Broyhill sales representative for the past 21 years, has been named Eastern sales manager. He replaces Bob Armfield, a former regional sales manager who left the company.
Jim Kelly has been named Western sales manager. Kelly most recently was national sales manager at Modus Furniture International, and also was vice president of sales for Fairmont Designs.
He replaces Dick Lewis, a former Western sales manager who also left the company.
Goodson and Kelly started their new jobs March 7, reporting to Dave Pinamonti, Broyhill's vice president of sales.
They will oversee sales reps in their respective territories. Goodson is based in Saratoga, N.Y., and Kelly works out of Newport Beach, Calif.
"We are continuing to grow and develop a great sales team, and we are glad to have Phil and Jim in place to oversee and drive that momentum forward," said Pinamonti.
