IHFRA issues new silver lapel pins
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 16, 2006
High Point — Members of the International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. will be sporting new lapel pins for the High Point furniture market.
The silver pins, recently mailed to all IHFRA members, reflect the association's updated branding image. They replace the gold pins the group has used for a decade.
"The IHFRA pin is distinctive and identifies the person wearing it as a valued member of the organization and a recognized sales representative," said Judy Mendenhall, president of High Point's Market Authority. "As we enter into a new centralized registration system in High Point, it is exciting to have a new IHFRA pin."
The pins are recognized by all major U.S. furniture markets.
IHFRA's newly rebuilt Web site at www.ihfra.org incorporates the group's new branding image as well as many new features, including the Opportunity Center where manufacturers can look for representatives, resumé postings for IHFRA members, and a member directory. A new mentoring section will be added soon.
Representatives may sign up to become members on the site.
