Oriental Weavers-Sphinx hires 2

Dalton, Ga. — Rug resource Oriental Weavers-Sphinx has named Tom Monaghan national accounts director and David Matamoros as Southeast regional manager.
Monaghan began his floor coverings career in 1983 with Masland. For the past 12 years, he has worked at Karastan in such posts as regional rug specialist, regional rug account manager and national accounts manager.
Matamoros, who will oversee and develop sales in the Southeast, has over 21 years experience, serving as executive vice president of home centers at Beaulieu and, most recently, as national sales manager at Monticello Carpets.
"Monaghan and Matamoros come with a wealth of knowledge and skills that will allow them to play an integral role in the growth of our company, including market strategy development and our ongoing commitment to customer service," said Mike Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA.
