USA Baby: 2 in Houston
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 23, 2006
Houston — Infant and kids furniture and accessory retailer USA Baby has opened a second store in Houston, on Westheimer in the Tanglewilde Shopping Center.
The store has about 10,800 square feet of selling space.
Jeff and Melissa Waring own the store, and are co-owners, with Melissa's parents, of the first USA Baby unit here. That store opened in North Houston in July 2001.
Both Warings have retail experience. Jeff was manager at Builder Square, and managed the North Houston USA Baby store for over four years. Melissa has worked with The Limited and Warner Brothers Studio Stores, and for Bank of America. The Warings live in Spring, Texas, with their three children.
USA Baby, established in 1975, now has nearly 70 stores.
