RMHC provides stability and resources to families so they can get and keep their children healthy and happy. Programs it operates and supports provide access to quality health care and give children and families the time they need together to heal faster and cope better.
"It is hard to comprehend the level of stress, uncertainty and worry families must feel when facing the illness of a child," said Kurt Darrow, president and CEO of La-Z-Boy. "Our commitment to RMHC goes beyond the furniture we provide. It extends into the local communities, through fundraising and volunteering activities. We are honored to be associated with such a remarkable organization. We are grateful to know that, every day, we are able to provide comfort to RMHC families so they can stay focused on helping their children recover."
La-Z-Boy began its support of the charity in 2008 with the donation of furniture to RMHC chapters in the United States and Canada. Since then, the company has increased its support, also donating to RMHC chapters in Australia, New Zealand and the Asian Pacific.
"We are very proud to honor La-Z-Boy, whose unwavering commitment to RMHC families extends even beyond generous financial support and product donation to the promotion of our cause among their employees, Furniture Galleries and customers," said Sheila Musolino, chief operating officer of RMHC.
