The Newland, Tarlton & Co. Collection is a hand-crafted group made from distressed mahogany, leather and brass accents. It includes:

• A piece with a folding base and trunk top that opens to become a functional campaign desk with drawers and a writing surface.

• A larger version of this desk breaks down into three pieces, including two drawer bases with leather handles on the sides. The writing top has two brass handles in the shape of an elephant head. The top also lifts up to a 45-degree angle and has a built-in blotter.

The group also includes a curved and straight bookcase. • Metropolis is an urban traditional group made from mahogany solids and mahogany, ribbon-striped mahogany and rosewood veneers. It has a four-drawer writing desk with black leather top, drop center drawer with keyboard pullout and wire management. The Metropolis laptop desk has three drawers, including a drop-front center drawer with keyboard and pullout and lock. It also has wire management and a center lift panel for laptop storage. The Metropolis executive desk has seven drawers, black leather top and pull-out writing surface over each pedestal. It also has wire management, a central locking system and drop-front center drawer with keyboard pullout.

• The 25th anniversary Copley Square collection includes executive desks, credenza, deck, file and bookcase units in crotch mahogany veneers and yew wood accents.

• The Executive collection is being expanded with new executive desks and credenza units with a standard return and a patent-pending, sit-to-stand functional return.

• Three executive desks are available in Chateau Marquette, a European Renaissance collection with cherry veneers and hardwood solids. The group is available in a physically distressed finish and features hardware in an antique metal finish. The desks have seven drawers on steel ball-bearing slides, which include a center drawer with drop front, two file drawers, two pullout writing slides, a kneehole drawer lock and two pedestal locks.

The group also includes a computer credenza, lateral file and hutch unit. Other pieces include two new computer cabinets.

• Wakefield is a traditional-style collection with cherry veneers and hardwood solids. It is available in a medium-dark cherry finish with physical distressing and worn edges for an antique look. It has an executive desk with a leather writing area, seven drawers on steel ball-bearing slides, which include two pull-out writing shelves and a center drawer with drop front and two file drawers. The group also includes a credenza, a lateral file, a hutch unit and a leather chair.

• Colonnade is a more casual home office group made from cherry veneers and hardwood solids. It is available in a medium cherry finish complemented by a black rub-through finish with a hint of red. It includes a double bookcase with sliding doors, writing desk, with two side drawers and drop-lid center drawer, credenza, lateral file and hutch unit. It also includes a lateral file hutch unit and desk chair.

• The Montclair collection in chestnut burl and cherry veneers is adding a bookcase unit with drawers, a credenza, and a hutch unit.

• Casablanca is a Mediterranean-inspired collection made from birch solids and pin knotty cherry veneers. New home office pieces include a leg desk, with side drawers, two executive desks with seven drawers on steel ball-bearing slides, credenza, lateral file and hutch unit. Other new pieces include a bookcase base, bookcase deck and leather desk chair.

• The traditional-styled Brookhaven in cherry veneers and hardwood solids is adding a new 60-inch desk with two side drawers and a file drawer and a hutch.

• The urban lifestyle-inspired Albany Park is adding a 60-inch desk with two side drawers and a file drawer and hutch unit.

• Cloister is a corner office unit available in a white oyster paint finish with subtle brush stroke and hand-painted accents. Other design elements include traditional crowns and moldings and a carved base. Pieces include a right printer/tower cabinet, corner desk, corner hutch, left and right hutch units, left lateral file, leg desk and leather desk chair.

• Simply American, a collection in quarter-sawn oak solids and veneers, includes a stand-alone bookcase and an add-on bookcase.

• Bradington-Young is offering eight new leather tilt swivel chairs and three leather side chairs.

• Jasper Cabinet will be bringing out several new secretaries this market. Both new and existing models will be available in 20 different finishes and several different grill options, including solid-door panels with engraved art. The company also is offering four different interiors, including one for use with a laptop computer.

• Harbor View is adding a new student desk that retails between $99 and $129. It is available in an antique white finish with solid-wood feet.

• Convergence, which mixes home entertainment and home office elements, is available in three smaller footprints targeted to students and gamers. Suggested retail is $99 to $149.

• Via is a new eight piece group in classic cherry and soft black finishes. Suggested retail ranges from $99 to $199.

• Serafina and Tre Venti include a total of 20 home office pieces with Old World style elements, such as canted posts, moldings and octagonal fluting. Serafina features swirly ash burl veneers in a frosted almond finish, and Tre Venti features pecky pecan veneers and oak cluster burl accents in a caramel finish. Home office pieces include an executive desk with canted posts and a bookcase with file storage in the base.
