HIGH POINT - Four buyers who attended the April High Point Market won iPads after visiting showrooms in the International Home Furnishings Center's Pavilions on Main 3, market organizers said.
For each exhibitor visited, each buyer was given a ticket for a chance to win one of four iPads, and there were thousands of entries.
The winners are Rebecca James of Wayfair, Boston; Patricia Plance of Hudson's Furniture, Sanford, Fla.; Andrea Houser of Plow & Hearth, Madison, Va.; and Julie Huseby of Becker Furniture World, Becker, Minn.
"This new promotion we launched this market was a fun way to encourage buyers to visit all of the incredible resources in the Pavilions on Main 3 in the IHFC," said Karen Olson, vice president of marketing for International Market Centers, which operates IHFC. "The iPad is a great gift and an amazingly useful tool for shopping future markets."
Pavilions on Main 3 occupies the third floor of the IHFC's Main wing. At the April market, it featured 47 exhibitors showing a diverse mix of products ranging from furniture, accessories, wall art, rugs, outdoor, casual and other goods.
