Flexa opens third U.S. store in Va.

Virginia Beach, Va. — Flexa Furniture, a Denmark-based kids furniture maker, has opened a 2,500-square-foot franchised store here on North Mall Drive, by the Lynnhaven Mall.
The dedicated store offers modular beds and accessories that are colorful, functional and flexible. A bed can last a child from toddler to teen because it can be modified for every age.
Store owners Carol Ann and Jim Janca were inspired to open the Flexa store after their experience with Krazy Kids, their children's furniture store in Chesapeake, Va., which carried the Flexa line.
The Jancas' store is the third Flexa-only store in the United States. The others are in Los Angeles and Hawaii.
Flexa Furniture, the U.S. arm of Flexa Group A/S in Hornsyld, Denmark, is based in Suffolk, Va. The company has been making kids furniture since 1972.
