Spring Air West
Elk Grove Village, Ill. — Dave Puterbaugh has been promoted to the new position of executive vice president for mattress manufacturer Spring Air West-Salt Lale City. He will be responsible for the Salt Lake City facility's sales and operations, and reports to Robert Simpton, director of sales and marketing, and Dennis Kemp, director of operations.
He has been vice president of sales at Spring Air West-Seattle for the past five years. Before joining Spring Air, Puterbaugh was with Serta for 27 years in various capacities, including general manager of its Puyallup, Wash., plant.
Meanwhile, Spring Air West-Seattle has hired Tom Anderson as senior key account manager. He is responsible for Federated Department Stores and will manage upscale brand Chattam & Wells' growth and distribution in the Pacific Northwest.
Anderson most recently was a co-owner of America's Mattress sleep shops in Hawaii, California and Washington. Earlier, he worked for Serta in various capacities, including general manager of its Hawaii facility. Anderson reports to Kevin York, vice president of sales.
Food services
Radisson Hotel
High Point — The Radisson Hotel here has made changes in its food services staff.
Juan Ingram, an executive chef for 14 years, has been named director of food and beverage and will oversee all dining operations.
Certified by the American Culinary Federation, Ingram has been an executive chef at the Sand Dunes Resort and Ocean Dunes Resort hotels in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, Ind.
John Allen has been appointed banquet manager. He has 12 years' experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as the banquet manager at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Damita Lewis has been hired as catering sales manager. She previously worked for the Hilton chain, where she won awards from the chain for her work.
