Ross joins Kingsdown as marketing VP

Mebane, N.C. — Jim Ross, a key figure in the growth of the Stearns & Foster brand, has joined Kingsdown as vice president of marketing, a new position. He reports to Pat Flippin, president and chief operating officer.
"Jim's proven success at positioning and selling high-end product makes him an obvious fit," said Flippin. "We also feel that Jim's background in both sales and marketing will help give our brand an edge with current and prospective retail partners and consumers."
Ross has held a number of marketing and sales positions at Sealy over the past 20 years. He most recently led special projects and initiatives at the company, and helped oversee the development of the new Sealy Posturepedic line, launched earlier this year. Before that he was vice president of marketing for Sealy's high-end Stearns & Foster brand for seven years.
